Worked example report

What Capability Intelligence produces from an organisation's own planning documents: a strategic workforce capability assessment, section by section.

The same method serves large private sector organisations and public agencies alike. This worked example is a fictional government agency, Koru Public Services Agency, and the 23 planning documents it holds: strategy and annual report, OKRs, the initiative portfolio, project register and business cases, BAU workload, structure and establishment, an HR extract, role descriptions, the capability framework and assessments, cost centres, vacancies, learning, the workforce plan and scenarios. Every figure in the report traces back to one of them.

It answers the question the agency asked first: can it deliver its 2026–2029 strategy with the capability it has? Then it works through demand, supply, the kind of gap behind each shortfall, who the plan depends on, and what to do about it.

Worked example. Koru Public Services Agency, its projects and its people are invented for this example. The method and products are what any customer receives.
